The bottom line of the display shows “Number

1”. There are two numbers to chose from.

4. Press u or n to select the number you wish to

call.

The keypad display shows the progress of the

call: “Dialling”, then “Connected”, “Negotiating”

followed by “Call Successful”. Check with the

receiving centre that the test call arrived. If the

call fails the display will show “Call failed”

followed by a reason.

Sending a Test Call to a Speech Dialler Number:

1. Enter the installer menu and select Test (see

steps 1 to 4 in “To start testing” on page 144).

3. Press Y.

The display instructs you to key in a telephone

number that you wish to send the test message

to.

Key in tel no:

4. Key in the telephone number the you wish to

call.

5. Press Y.

The keypad display shows the progress of the

call: “Dialling” while the speech dialler is

dialling the telephone number, followed by

“Connecting” when the called number is

ringing. The display shows. “Connected” when

the called number answers, followed by

“Playing Messages” (after six seconds). If the

called number presses 5 or 9 the display shows
