3. Registering Fobs on the

System

You can register a fob on the alarm system yourself (provided

you are not a “Guard” or “Set Only” user. (A Master User or

Admin User can register a fob for a new user when they first add

the user to the system.)

Note: The sample screens on the right show “i-on160EX” as the

control unit. The steps below will also work with any other

control unit in the i-on range.

1. Make sure the display shows

the standby screen.





2. Press .





3. Key in your access code (or

present a tag).





4. Press  .





5. Press .





6. Press  until the display

shows:





7. Press .

The display asks you to press

one of the buttons on the

fob.

Note: If you already have a

Remote allocated to you

then the screen will display

“Delete Remote?”. See

page 9.




